The Halo Room

A fun collaboration with our client Kodie, owner operator of the well-known luxury hair salon ‘ The Halo Room ‘. Our brief was to create a minimalist scheme and to incorporate Kodie’s love for oversized arch mirrors and plants.

Starting with a blank canvas, we drew from the features of the suburb, Hawthorne, surrounded by Queenslander and period homes. It was the perfect fit for a traditional design of wainscoting, timber vinyl flooring and a light palette.

Careful spatial planning was implemented to ensure there was good workflow from front of house to back of house. Oak shelving to display hair product, custom benches and mirrors, upholstered wash basin chairs to compliment the colour scheme.

The feature wall behind the wash basins in porters paint and oak shelving filled with planting to add warmth and life to the space. A minimalist palette of warm white and light oak to create a fresh feel and a sense of luxury whilst in the space.
