Christina Street Project

With the Christina Street Project, we were approached by these lovely clients to assist with their vision of a Mediterranean home in the Bayside suburb of Wellington Point.

Their Mediterranean theme was fitting for their location close by the water. This home was to be their family home that they needed to suit them whilst also having appeal to the wider market for resale in a few years.

Their Architect provided us their proposal of an amazing two-level design which included open plan living, a grand entry with curved wall and private bedroom level upstairs. Providing us with the floor plan and layout to review. We were mindful to keep the floorplan functional and practical for their family lifestyle by including sufficient storage and clever cabinetry design throughout.

The client wanted to include natural materials such as Croatian Limestone, feature brickwork and external stone cladding to the façade to create texture and interest to the design. We added curved elements, Argyle and Terrazzo tiles, light timber laminate, crisp white fixtures, and gunmetal tapware to contrast.

One gorgeous feature of the home is the inclusion of the custom designed fireplace which includes a log storage area, Limestone base with feature Linear Brick cladding. This continues the light, fresh colour scheme and is adorned with soft sheer curtains. The laundry combines a functional space with a beautiful calm feel through the Coastal Oak laminate combined with light and crisp 2pac cabinetry and White Truffle stone benchtop. It includes a laundry chute and a built-in laundry basket for efficient family living.

The kitchen appliances are by Bosch, Fisher & Paykel with Induction Cooktop. We have designed the custom rangehood with beautiful feature tiles to conceal the exhaust to not only look great but to allow but to flow seamlessly with the island bench design and Croatian Limestone shelf below. The butlers design has ample storage in open and closed shelving along with appliance cupboard and undermount sink, creating extra workspace with added interest in the curved bulkhead design.

We are so proud of this project and the outcome.
